Hello Everyone,
I'm really suffering right now with Adenomyosis, and noticed the mention of health care in France for this being much better. I wonder if this could be elaborated upon? Where in France? Could this be done under the NHS? - with the european medical card...What kind of assistance can they give?
How do I know/find out what kind of Adenomyosis I have? What are the different types? What does one experience with the different types?
Am on Tramadol today for the pain, but I still feel the pain!!! The doctor on call has just prescribed me ponstan to try and use this in combination. So I hope to receive some relief from using that also. Apart from that, I'm not taking anything else right now. The bleeding is minimal right now, following taking Depro tablets. Before taking them, the bleeding was so heavy that I would fill a waste basket with pads in one day. Sometimes the pads were full from front to back - and side to side. BUT before taking the Depro tablets, there was NO pain...and now there is....
I got so weak from the bleeding though. I looked white... |

Hi,
How long have you had this and how were you diagnosed with adenomyosis ?
What is Depro ?? is it Provera ? I' guess you've never tried Levonorgestrel ?
In my experience Ponstan isn't helpful, the pain and disease progressed while I was taking them. Tramadol didn't help either but it seems to help some people. |

Hi,
I have had this since August 2007. I was diagnosed with adenomyosis by MRI scan. Originally they wanted to do a hysteroscopy.
Yes, I was taking Provera. What is the Levonorgestrel?
I noticed little difference with the ponstan. I feel contractions/guddering of the womb with this.
The Tramadol made me feel VERY sick, and very dizzy - affecting the mind badly.
Do you know of the place in France to go for advanced assistance.
Thankyou!
