I received the following which is one of many messages received from patients and carers:
"Whilst waiting for our follow-up consultation with Prof. Robert on the 28th, we met a gentleman - a former Doctor - from Florida who was going to have the operation performed by Prof. Robert for Pudendal Nerve Entrapment. He had all the information about Nantes that you had provided for my mother in the past, further proof that your assistance and influence spreads far and wide.
On that note, on behalf of my mother and our family I want to thank you once again for all the assistance and support you have given to us over the past two years - without your help I'm certain my mother would still be in severe pain without knowledge of the cause of her suffering. Thank you.
My mother is a little tearful at the moment, very probably an emotional reaction to the many months of suffering and the anticipation of final relief from the pain, but I'm sure that when she is feeling brighter she will ring you herself to talk about how she fells now"
This patient had a hip operation which triggered excrutiating pain sitting that became intolerable. The procedure she had in Nantes was inferior cluneal nerve decompression.
