Sponsor our girls!

British 10k London, 8 July 2012 - The British 10K is the UK's most prestigious 10K road race.

On 8 July 2012, 25,000 runners will race along the world's greatest route past some of the world's most iconic landmarks. Among them will be four runners for PPSN - running to raise vital funds for the charity's work, which is all done by volunteers.

Cat Horswill - PhD student at St Andrews University and working with the British Antarctic Survey to assess the impact of environmental change on penguin populations. Keen to get fit, give up smoking and do something for the charity, Cat is aiming to run in under 1hour. Sponsor her here.

Emma Smith - PhD student at Cambridge University, studying geophysics with the British Antarctic Survey. Emma has also taken up rowing and is challenging herself with the 10k. Will she match Cat's speed? Sponsor her here.

Matea Osti - working on combating climate change at an international charity based in Cambridge, she sees the run as a personal challenge and has been training regularly with the other girls. Keen to raise funds for this good cause. Sponsor her here.

Rachel Zillwood - Trustee of PPSN and regular runner. Also a keen netball player and referee. Rachel has already run two 5km runs for PPSN and is stepping it up a gear this year. Sponsor her here.
